At the time of writing, they meet the world’s countries that signed the UN Climate Convention, in Bonn for the 23rd Climate Summit. During COP 21 (2015), the so-called Paris Agreement, where the world’s countries agreed that the global temperature increase should be kept below 2 degrees and preferably not more than 1.5 degrees. The purpose of this year’s climate meeting is to agree on how the Paris agreement will be implemented, ie fill the Agenda 2030 with content, while discussing how to increase the ambition level as the time to reach the goals is very short.
What does the reality look like for organizations within NetPort Energy Clusters and how do we contribute our shared efforts to achieving the Global Goals? We will listen to the energy and climate targets in Blekinge, where the County Administrative Board reports on the updated action plan for the county. We also get a around tour at Uniper and a presentation of the reality of the reservoir in Karlshamn. We get status updates from the Energy Cluster working groups with good opportunities for discussion. In addition, you will meet this year’s high school engineer students. Is your company in need of a high school engineer, or are you interested in offering a internship in the coming spring, then you will be able to get more information during the meeting.
